The Lodge and Beebe Healthcare Join Forces to Elevate Wellness in Sussex County
As the frequency of studies showing the impact on our health from lifestyle choices reaches new heights, The Lodge at Truitt Homestead and Beebe Healthcare are partnering together to provide resources to area seniors in the form of engaging and supportive workshops.
(REHOBOTH BEACH, Delaware) – On Thursday, January 30th at 1:00pm The Lodge at Truitt Homestead and Beebe Healthcare will be launching a groundbreaking wellness initiative with the first in a four-part “Resolutions & Resources: Engaged Living” workshops series. Titled “Realizing the Change”, this first workshop will be helmed by expert guest speaker Rita Stevens, Co-Owner and Vice President of Operations of Vantage Point Retirement Living. Rita will guide attendees in an interactive setting to connect the dots between resolving to change our health and fitness for the better, and actually realizing the change – with the right tools, resources and support.
Dave Bolton, Executive Director of The Lodge at Truitt Homestead and The Lodge at Historic Lewes, said “each workshop is focused on one aspect of Engaged Living – and yes that’s a health and wellness concept that has been delivered to us from gurus and influencers many times over with snappy soundbites and “formulas for success”. But without access to tangible resources…real people with names and phone numbers to be a part of your support team…there isn’t any accountability for whether those jazzy soundbites of health advice are effective, and that’s a key difference between wanting to live a healthier lifestyle and truly living healthier.”
When asked what makes the Engaged Living initiative different from other health-focused workshops, Co-Owner of Vantage Point Retirement Living Rita Stevens said “everyone says they’re the best at what they do.
