TOOTHBRUSH PILLOW WINS CERTIFICATION AS FSA AND HSA ELIGIBLE MEDICAL DEVICE

2021-08-22 16:00:00 - Peoria, AZ - (PR Distribution™)

The Toothbrush Pillow, a unique specialty product designed for people of all ages with diminished motor skills or physical impairment, has received approval from the Special Interest Group for IIAS Standards (SIGIS) as a Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Savings Account (FSA) eligible medical device.

The Toothbrush Pillow is used by persons with Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Autism, and upper limb amputation to practice proper oral hygiene without assistance from family members or medical specialists.

SIGIS certification of the Toothbrush Pillow as FSA and HSA eligible enables users to save money on medical devices not covered by insurance and reduced federal income tax.

The simple device rests on a table or countertop to steady a toothbrush during toothpaste application by physically or neurologically impaired persons or small children. The toothbrush lies flat and steady with bristles up in the Pillow away from the contamination of sink and tabletops while toothpaste or other dentifrice is applied.

The Pillow works with standard, battery-powered, or electric toothbrushes and can be easily cleaned with soap and water. The Toothbrush Pillow also can be used to store the toothbrush between uses.
