An E-juice Visual Display Patent Allows Vapers to Label Vapor Contents

While the current generations of e-cigarettes may appear technically sophisticated, there is currently no means for the vaper to easily identify the specific contents. Much of the national conversation surrounding vaping relates to the reality that the vaper can’t discern if the juice contains nicotine, THC, caffeine, or other contents. Patent US20170113819A1, the e-cigarette (e-cig) and Fluid Dispensing System (FDS) patent aims to change that. This novel invention enables e-cig manufacturers to build in a mechanism that would allow the vaper to visually display what the juice contents are as an added safety measure; be it safe, non-nicotine or nicotine infused.

E-cigarretes allow a wide variety of juice contents. The juice can be as benign Caffeine and Vitamin C. However, a majority of the market is dedicated to products containing nicotine. Marijuana based products also hold a significant market share, despite only being lawfully permitted in a handful of locales.

Given the variety e-juice available, traditional e-cigarette design leaves open significant potential for misidentification. There is much greater societal awareness of the addictive nature of nicotine. In fact, e-cigarettes are often used to aid in the cessation of smoking. The fluid dispensing patent goes a long way to diminishing the risk of misidentification. As more regulations are enacted, the purchase of the FDS patent will go a long way towards ensuring transparency and moving the industry forward.

“This is going to be a big deal for vapers” commented inventor and patent holder Keith Marz. Laws and restrictions are being contemplated without any concern for what the contents of the vaporizer are. Does anyone think that vaping caffeine or vitamin C is as dangerous as nicotine? Prohibiting people from vaping everything seems absurd just because no one can differentiate the contents. Transparency will help change the direction of the marketplace while hopefully saving lives and helping our children.
