VETERANS ELITE SERVICES was named the winner of a BRONZE Stevie® Award in the VETERAN-OWNED BUSINESS of the YEAR category in The 17th Annual American Business Awards®.

The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 11.

More than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.  VETERANS ELITE SERVICES was nominated in the VETERAN-OWNED BUSINESS of the YEAR category.

Since early 2015 Veterans Elite Services has been advocating for military veteran hiring.  Looking beyond the resume and more into the person is how Veterans Elite Services has been able to successfully hire transitioning service members.  This recognition continues to highlight that success.  Here are some direct quotes from the judges:

"America is truly represented in this company with a mission to employ military veterans and give them a working wage. It is something to be honored. Growth expansion and community involvement are all displayed here."

"Veterans Elite Services have created a company that is helping veterans while also successfully completing various business projects. They have healthy numbers to prove their success. Bravo! Well done!"

"I have nothing to comment on this nomination other than "fantastic". Although Veterans Elite Services (VES) is not as much profitable as big companies are, yet It is truly meaningful, humane and community responsible. As a result, their achievements and results are very impressive, realistic and persuasive, and this company is expanding day by day. It is obvious that is the good candidate for the Veteran-Owned Business of the Year."

" Just what our veterans need, a helping hand to get on their feet and in the workforce. Thank you for your service and helping our service men"

"All of us at VES are honored to be recognized on this national level.  This reinforces the fact that hiring military veterans is important for every organization in the country," said Joe Padlo, founder and CEO of Veterans Elite Services

More than 200 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

“The nominations submitted to The 2019 American Business Awards were outstanding.  They illustrate the continued vibrancy of innovation and high level of achievement across the American economic landscape,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
