Time for Change Foundation’s (TFCF) 20th Anniversary Awards Gala, “Once Upon A Time” will honor outstanding individuals and organizations that go above and beyond for our community and continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
Time for Change Foundation is proud to announce that Vickie Lobo will be honored with the Nancy Varner Angel Award for her outstanding work through her foundation, Knock Knock Angels. In 2014 Vickie founded Knock Knock Angels to give people a fresh start after traumatic events including domestic violence, homelessness, neglect, or addiction.
Since its founding year, Knock Knock Angels has completed over 135 home makeovers, Random Acts of Kindness, and move-ins! Vickie shows the home reveals via social media, creating a chain reaction of service within the community. In 2021 alone, they infused close to 800,000 of in-kind donations back into the community by partnering with other charities and philanthropic orgs. Knock Knock Angels now has amazing organizations that partner with them to do more in the community. Some of the charities biggest supporters are Southern California Edison, Amazon, Ashley Furniture and Hope to Dream Foundation. “It takes a village,” Vickie says, “and this work cannot be done alone.”
Through Knock Knock Angeles Vickie Lobo is changing lives little by little, bed by bed, one family, one person at a time and we love every second of it!
