This company has taken the online dog food purchasing experience to the next level by redesigning their storefront to include an immersive and interactive customer experience. They have created a unique Build-a Bowl feature which allows the customer to start with a Volhard Foundation mix and add choices of proteins to a bowl, all the while building to the final “as-fed” bowl of fresh and beautiful food for dogs. The final bowl not only provides a visually appealing look at what the dog will be eating but also provides the pet parent with a complete nutritional overview which changes depending on what is in the bowl.
In addition to the one-of-a-kind Build-A Bowl capability, the site features a new calorie calculator to help pet parents understand how many calories their dog should be eating per day, ways to purchase food and supplements right from the homepage, easier navigation throughout the site and a whole bunch of moving, visually engaging graphics. These changes will make purchasing the Volhard products much more exciting and convenient. There is a new product ticker that showcases the products right on the homepage, simpler navigation tabs provide the customer with a way to move through the site quickly and efficiently and finally, less clicks to get where you want to go!
