About Dr. Shlomo Widder, M.D. and Widder Plastic Surgery
Dr. Shlomo Widder has been practicing plastic surgery for more than 30 years and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Widder is the owner and operator of Widder Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Center in Vienna, VA. He obtained his Pre-Medical Degree from the University of Bologna in Italy and then his Medical Degree from the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology in Israel. He completed his internship and initial general surgery residency at the University of Tel Aviv before moving to the United States in 1981 to become a resident at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Shortly after, Dr. Widder continued his medical training and completed residencies at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., and Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. He completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Case Western Reserve University Hospital of Cleveland, OH. After completing his training, Dr. Widder decided to fulfill his dream of owning his own practice and opened Widder Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Center in Vienna, VA, in 1990.
Dr. Widder holds a number of certificates from several prestigious medical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, and the Fairfax County Medical Society.
Dr. Widder has led an impressive and illustrious career. Through years of training and practice he has mastered many different types of surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Quality of care, honesty, attention to detail, and patient safety are his top priorities. His personal philosophy is to help patients fulfill their desired look while maintaining safety above all else.
