COLUMBUS, OHIO, August 19- Workstate is excited to announce that our Innovation team has added Microsoft Mesh to our Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality/Mixed Reality (VR/AR/MR) exploration.
Mesh is leading edge technology that will allow for faster development of complex Mixed Reality applications. You can connect to Mesh from anywhere on HoloLens 2, VR headsets, mobile phones, tablets, or PCs – using any Mesh-enabled app.
Exploring and prototyping new technologies for our clients is the mission of Workstate’s Innovation Lab. We are particularly thrilled about opportunities presented by VR, AR and MR as they have tremendous potential for sparking collaboration in new and empowering ways.
The advanced networking and avatar capabilities of Mesh will enable applications such as interactive remote support and meetings with detailed representations of colleagues. Its ability for rapid rendering of high-resolution models in a shared space will allow for teams to inspect and annotate real-world spaces. And when coupled with Microsoft’s HoloLens 2, it provides an opportunity for users to connect, collaborate, and work in a seamlessly integrated virtual and physical environment.
“The way we do business has changed in recent times and we have to consider what the future will demand as we rise to meet those challenges,” says Bill Nicoloulias, Workstate President and Chairman of the Board.
“We know that it is vital to our survival to adapt and foster creative collaboration by working together with remote teams in ways that harness tools we have, and are just learning to use, to work smarter.”
